It was last summer when Bloggers United held an interactive bazaar that featured Manila’s top and most influential bloggers. The Bloggers United is said to be a team dedicated in delivering breakthroughs in the metro’s blogging community. Bloggers, readers, sponsors, presenters, donors, press and media came together to use their massive power to influence and inspire the public in order to make an action in spreading social awareness and issues to our fellowmen.
Then, last November 3, the second installment was launched at The Fort Global City and it was definitely bigger and better. Bloggers got out of their comfort zones and usernames to finally get to know their readers and shoppers more. Our meg magazine also participated and we sold our pre-loved items and goodies at a cheaper price. The night before the event, i was utterly confused because i don’t know what to sell plus i am not really good at selling or even staying in one place. I was about to sell our gas range and fridge only to find out i have old-i-dont-want-anymore-books (namely the twilight saga which i will undoubtedly sell for 50 pesos buy one take three hahaha), outgrown dresses, perfume from the states that i have never used because the smell is too strong, clothes of my mom and sister, and gadgets my dad wants me to sell. Proceeds will go to a picked foundation too.

My sister bought a scarf from Accessorize, our favorite UK brand of accessories and bags.
Accessorize holds a unique position on the high street with its inspirational, globally sourced, well-priced and good quality collection of fashion accessories. Displayed in an original and impactful colour-bay design, the constantly changing range includes every kind of accessory imaginable; bags, purses, jewelry, belts, hats, scarves, flip flops, gloves, hair accessories and cosmetics.
Solar Entertainment Corporation was also there to cover the big bazaar event in the metro. My friends Neo and Michael interviewed the bloggers! It was my first time to sell at a bazaar and it wasn’t that bad. It was actually funny when my sister and i don’t know how to price the items and we constantly change it in front of the customers. Hahaha!
Look who got a La Sardina El Capitan lomo cam! I’ve always wanted a polaroid camera and i have always been in love with filter effects of Lomography. There is something immensely beautiful in these analog and film cameras, just like writing in ink.
I bumped also into my friend during my internship days at Fonterra Brands, Katrina.
I super appreciate that my friends Catherine, Daniel, Neo, Michael, Christine, Pol and my sister Bianca were there even though they didn’t buy anything from me. Hahaha!
To end the tiring but awesome day (i know i’m running out of adjectives haha), my friends and i hurriedly looked for a restaurant at Bonifacio High Street and it was impossible not to go inside each shop we passed by but still not looking like a hungry monster. We divulged in Sonja’s Cupcakes as we wait for mom and dad to pick us up because they were on a date. Hihi. Then we headed back home to celebrate ’til past midnight my friends’ birthday. Happy birthday Heinz and Winston!
Thank you so much guys for coming and supporting me! ‘Til next time
