Last November 15, 2011 i was asked to represent Meg magazine and attend the mini presscon at Sofitel Hotel Manila. Johna Revesencio from Iloilo won majority of the votes and was hailed as the new Yahoo! Mail’s Cool Ambassador. She edged out the other aspirants and will luckily receive the lavish ‘Purple Royalty Experience’. She will be escorted in a chauffeur-driven Jaguar car and she will stay at the Opera Suite (that is insanely valued for almost P50,000 per night!). She will also have a makeover from Philippe Tordjman (the stylist for Hilary Clinton, Jojo and Justin Timberlake) plus she will have French massage treatment. She will also receive a gift from Jewelmer (a gold south sea pearl pendant valued at USD 800). Cool beans!

Actually i didn’t know that there would be media from different publishing houses and broadcasting networks that will cover the event. I was dumbfounded because i am not very good with the crowd. Moving on, congratulations Johna! Well-deserved.

But the best part was eating a full course late lunch at Sofitel’s Le Bar. I overate again at The Spiral and divulged myself into Japanese cuisine and heaps of heavenly desserts. Plus i got freebies like a neat folder slash organizer and a purple earphones! Thanks Yahoo for inviting us over
