Last summer my family went to Boracay Island, Philippines. I will let my pictures do the talking :) This was also the time when the beautiful and happy couple, Kate Middleton and Prince William, had a royal wedding :) And Blessed Pope John Paul II was officially beatified.

My sister and i can’t stop laughing in the airplane because of our stupid jokes. Finally we arrived at a late afternoon and we hit the beach instantly and brought out our new Baby Canon 550D. I am wearing my favorite yellow sundress from zara.

We were located at the station 2, where the coolest restaurants and bars are established. They’ve got the one of the most breathtaking sunsets in the world.

Then we ate street foods and watched the fire dancers eat flames for our first night.

Then we woke up early for a buffet breakfast in the hotel. I ate like there was no tomorrow. I was becoming like my sister! Oh my gosh. While mom was so excited to swim already, we took some photos. Okay maybe not some, but a lot. Until it became so hot and we weren’t able to swim for a couple of minutes.

So instead we enjoyed a refreshing mango juice and relaxed ourselves by the shade as we watch mom and dad happily swimming and turning dark in color. Haha.

Boracay is famous for their fine white sand, warm sunny weather and clear blue waters. And it was awarded by a British publication as the “Number One Tropical Beach In The World”.

We ate anything we can see (sand not included) and took photos of everything under the sun (that means photos of ourselves hahaha).

Since we weren’t able to see or join Boracay Open Asian Beach Ultimate Tournament, my sister and i had our own intense-frisbee-no-show-off-tournament by the shore. Hahaha! And it was more fun to play our favorite sport at the beach. We could dip ourselves afterwards at the cool refreshing waters.

We had or dinner for our second day at an Italian restaurant and we had gelato for midnight snack while listening to the reggae music nearby. Mom was dancing alone. While sitting. Spell shame.

Third day was a blast! We did everything we could do to enjoy our last full day at Boracay.

This is one of my favorite photos, with dad getting tired from taking our shots.

And this is my annoying, funny, dirty, loud, always hungry and makulit sister.

The best part of Boracay is its 4 kilometer white sand long beach.

In the afternoon, we headed to station 1 where the banana boats are located.

My sister loves riding at my back even though it hurts. One day i will be backless. :/

Everywhere we go, we laugh and make a fool out of ourselves. Okay, just my sister. She has been ridiculously funny in all ways especially with everything that she does to her face.

Finally we arrived at the port and we kept waiting because no one wants to ride with us. Are we that fun to be with? Nevertheless, since my dad was afraid of the boat (not really the boat itself what i meant was the ride) he wasn’t able to come along and witness the most beautiful sunset i have ever seen in my life. I don’t have a photo of it but it was too amazing to forget. This is the dramatic waves crashing by the shore slowly being eaten up by the orange and velvet sky. Everything is suddenly in slow motion.

We love playing with silhouettes, except mom. She doesn’t see why we are taking photos without our faces being seen.

We had the best dinner of our stay there by the shore. We nearly finished the buffet table. Okay not literally. Haha. Everything was so relaxing and happy with bright lights and good music surrounding us in every corner. And can you believe it? We had tequila sunrise in front of mom’s and dad’s eyes! They’ve been so open and understanding lately. Hahaha.

It was our last day at the paradise, and it is time to save a few more breaths, laughters and a few more good things in between.

We played frisbee again and swam afterwards in the cold ocean. Our hearts stopped when the rain poured for a few minutes and it was awe-inspiring to see a rainbow above us while swimming! I wasn’t able to capture the rainbow clearly because dad won’t let me use the dslr because it might get wet. But it was so mind-blowing!

We absolutely love water! Especially mom, that’s why she got so dark. Or let’s call it tanned for her own sake. Hihi

I really love my family because they make me the happiest. Families are the only permanent thing in this world and they are still there even if you let them down or you have failed them. They guide and protect you. They will always accept you inside out and love you no matter what. Thank God for them, i wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them. This is the best summer ever and it is definitely worth remembering. I would love to go back to this place again and make another summer full of love and happiness. :)
